Each nyckelharpa we restore carries the soul of its maker — Swedish folk artisans whose hands shaped these instruments decades ago, many of whom are no longer with us.

Over the years, many of these instruments rested silently in attics, storage rooms or on old walls, waiting to be heard again. With patience, care and deep respect for traditional craftsmanship, we bring them back to life so their voice may resonate once more.

Our work is both a tribute to the makers who created these instruments and a continuation of the musical stories they left behind — allowing the sound of the nyckelharpa to live on in new hands and new hearts.

Nyckelharpa Polska offers carefully selected instruments, rentals, professional accessories and expert guidance led by Anna Kołodziej (Violianka) — a musician, educator and nyckelharpa specialist with over 20 years of experience on the Polish folk music scene.

Alongside instrument restoration and sales, we organize workshops, presentations and concerts, offer online lessons and educational activities, and help musicians at every stage of their journey with the nyckelharpa.
